The County Kerry 24 is Noteworthy's most popular small folk harp!
With 24 Truitt Levers, it is excellent for beginners as well as expert harpists. It is still small enough to be carried easily for all kinds of traveling engagements. Vermont Strings. The lowest four strings are the wound type to increase their volume and sustain. The standard harp has seven sharping levers and comes with a padded cloth case and a tuning wrench. The range is Low C below Middle C and up for 3 and 1/2 octaves. Available in Cherry, Walnut, Curly Maple, and Bubinga from Africa. Curly Maple is $50 extra, and special order Bubinga from Africa is $100 extra. Bubinga creates the most resonant sound. Each harp is custom hand-made, which means it takes between 6 to 8 weeks.
Expert harpists expecially love this harp as it is (1) an excellent, resonant sound for its folk-harp size, (2) easy to take abroad when traveling, (3) perfectly fits in airline compartments above the seats, and (4) does not need to be checked in as extra luggage.
