Using the Audio Technica ATH-COM1 headset you can do just that.  This headset has a single earpiece with a 40mm driver for one ear monitoring.  There is also a neodymium dynamic microphone on this headset to pick up your voice accurately and clearly.  The microphone boom is flexible so you can adjust where the microphone is to get it in the best position for you.  What we don't want to have happening is this headset becoming uncomfortable for you to wear which is why the earpiece is cushioned and the design of the headset is very light weight.  The ATH-COM1 has two 3.5mm plugs, one for the headphones and one for the microphone.  These headphones have an ultra wide frequency range of 30Hz - 20kHz so no matter what you're listening to, it will be accurately represented.  Whether you're gaming, talking on your phone, or talking from your sound board to musicians, this headset is ready to take on your needs.
