Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most common questions we receive about shopping at Kingdom. We hope that you can find the answer to your question. If not, please feel free to e-mail us or call toll free at 1-800-788-1122.

What's the Difference between New, Demo and Used Equipment?

  1. What is your shipping policy?

  2. What is your minimum shipping and handling charge?

Our Minimum Shipping and Handling Charge is $3.97. No matter what you order, even if the item is FREE, you will pay this $3.97 fee. Though a lot of our products are inexpensive and lightweight, the carriers that deliver our products to your door have a minimum amount that they charge. This Minimum Shipping and Handling amount prevents us from losing money on small orders, and allows us to keep our Kingdom product prices low!

  3. I have my order shipped to an address other than the billing address?

Yes. But, because we want to protect our customers, and we are aware of the “Identity Theft” epidemic in this country, your order will have to be verified. When an order is shipping to a different address than the billing address, we require that all the credit card information be verified with the issuing bank. This policy protects all parties from unauthorized card use. For your protection and to speed up the processing of your order, please contact your credit card company and notify them of any and all alternate or authorized addresses.

  4. What is your international order policy?

We may require funds to be electronically wired to our bank before your order can be shipped. However, this may not be required once you become an established customer of Kingdom. International Internet orders will need to be verified before shipping.

    1. How do I convert a Cassette Tape to MP3 or CD?

There are a couple of different ways to convert a cassette tape to MP3 or CD. Choose whatever option works best for you and fits your budget.

The first and simplest way is to use a tape and CD recorder combo deck such as the KCT22M3 or the Crowsley ALL2CD, which also converts vinyl records to CD. Simply put the tape you wish to convert in the tape deck and insert a blank CD into the CD recorder drive. Press the "Tape - to - CD" record button and your cassette will start converting. When it's finished you now have a CD with the audio that was on the tape! If you want to convert the CD to MP3 simply insert the CD in your home computer and use a popular free program such as iTunes to convert your CD to MP3! It's really that simple!

The second option is to connect a standard tape deck such as the 2KT08, or a tape deck you already own, to your computer using an audio interface such as the KPRTNOMC. Insert the tape you wish to convert into the tape deck and press play. Using the free audio recording software that comes with the KPRTNOMC, record the audio from the tape to your computer. When the recording is done you are able to easily burn the audio to CD for playback in a standard CD player, or convert the audio to MP3 for playback on your iPod or for uploading to an online service such as MessageShare to share your message with the millions of people on the internet!

    2. Why do I still use tapes?

There are several reasons you should use cassette tapes in your ministry. First, this technology has not completely disappeared, which means there is a large number of people still needing to hear the life-changing message of Christ who only have a tape player. Plus, many of the elderly that are unable to attend church services still rely on receiving their teachings and spiritual growth messages on a tape.

It’s only been within the past couple years that car manufacturers have started to completely replace tape decks with CD players. This means that there are plenty of people out there who can only listen to tapes while traveling in their car.

Cassette tapes are probably the most “convenient” media format for "bookmarking. When listening to spoken word, you don’t lose your place. Whether you are moving the tape from player to player or simply starting and stopping, you are always just at the place you left off. The other convenience of cassette tapes is its portability; a tape can easily slip into the pocket of a shirt, pants, orpurse.

It is important to offer your recordings on every type of media that the people you are trying to reach are using.
