There is a lot of confusion about things happening in the world the economy, war, hunger. Hard times are a part of life they can't be avoided. Many people feel there is no hope for the future because of all of the bad things happening every day. But we don't have to succumb to life's pressures when the hard times come, or try to go around them. Our Day of Hope and Friendship Kit can help. By inviting our friends to church we can help them draw on the hope that is found in Christ. We can walk through the storms and come out a winner!
A group of churches in our area declared September 20th as a Day of Hope and Friendship. We loved the idea so much that we wanted to share this opportunity with churches around the country and the world! By asking our friends, co-workers, and acquaintances to attend church that day, we can give them the greatest gift a friend could ever share — an opportunity to find hope and friendship in Christ! We've even created a special tool kit to help your congregation invite people in your community. This also gives your congregation a special event to look forward to! If for some reason you aren't able to join us to celebrate the day on September 20th, feel free to choose another day for your church!
